STANEK THANKS TOWN MEETING ATTENDEES

(ST. PAUL) State Representative Rich Stanek (R-Maple Grove) expressed his pleasure at the attendance and participation at his February 26 town meeting. Rep. Stanek was joined by State Senator Warren Limmer (R-Maple Grove) at the Maple Grove Community Center.

"We had a very good meeting with great attendance and interest," said Rep. Stanek. "Over 75 people joined Senator Limmer and me as we discussed issues ranging from nursing homes to light rail and mass transit, education and higher education, tax relief and rebates. I thought the meeting was very helpful to everyone who attended, and I want to thank them for their coming."

Rep. Stanek added that the results from his recent legislative questionnaire are currently being tabulated and will be mailed to area residents who responded to his survey.

Rep. Stanek serves District 33B in the House of Representatives. He is the chair of the Judciary Finance Committee and also serves on the Crime Prevention Committee, the Civil Law Committee and the Ways and Means Committee.
