KENYON, MN - Constituents of State Representative Steve Sviggum will have a new way to stay informed on issues during the upcoming legislative session. Citizens are able to sign up for Sviggum's new weekly e-mail newsletter beginning today on the House website.
"Technology provides us more opportunities than ever to communicate with constituents and keep them informed of what's going on in the Legislature," Sviggum said. "Every week, the citizens of House District 28B will now have that chance with a weekly e-mail update."
Anyone who wants to subscribe to the updates can sign up by going to Sviggum's official House website at www.house.mn/28B and clicking on the "Email Updates" link. A subscriber can opt to remove their name from the mailing list at any time.
Late last month, Sviggum unveiled a statewide webpage for citizens to offer their ideas and suggestions on how to balance the state budget. That website is available at www.mnbalancedbudget.com.
Minnesotans can also get information from the House Republican Caucus website at http://www.house.mn/gop or at the House Public Information Office at http://www.house.leg.state.mn.us/hinfo/hinfo.asp.
