1.6Any financial assistance provided by the state for the purpose of subsidizing the
1.7deployment of a wind energy conversion system, as defined in section 216F.01, subdivision
1.84; a solar energy generating system, as defined in section 216E.01, subdivision 9a; or an
1.9energy storage system, as defined in section 216B.2422, subdivision 1, must include a
1.10condition requiring that at least 50 percent of the components of the facility receiving the
1.11financial assistance, by value, be manufactured in the United States."
