      The House of Representatives convened at 10:00 a.m. and was called to order by Dan Wolgamott, Speaker pro tempore.

 

      Prayer was offered by Pastor Matthew St. John, New Hope Church, New Hope, Minnesota.

 

      The members of the House gave the pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America.

H. F. No. 43, A bill for an act relating to capital investment; appropriating money for improvements to the City of Aurora Community Center; authorizing the sale and issuance of state bonds.

 

The bill was read for the first time and referred to the Committee on Capital Investment.

 

 

Baker introduced:

 

H. F. No. 44, A bill for an act relating to health; providing exceptions to the hospital construction moratorium; amending Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 144.551, subdivision 1.

 

The bill was read for the first time and referred to the Committee on Health Finance and Policy.

 

 

Grossell introduced:

 

H. F. No. 45, A bill for an act relating to transportation; requiring the commissioner of transportation to inspect trains entering the state from Canada; appropriating money; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 219.

      Noor moved that the name of Xiong, J., be added as an author on H. F. No. 1.  The motion prevailed.

 

      Pelowski moved that the names of Sandstede and Bierman be added as authors on H. F. No. 17.  The motion prevailed.

 

      Bahr moved that the names of Mueller and Poston be added as authors on H. F. No. 28.  The motion prevailed.

 

      Bernardy moved that the name of Becker-Finn be added as an author on H. F. No. 39.  The motion prevailed.
