MINUTES


Representative Kathy Tingelstad, Chair of the Governmental Operations and Veterans Affairs Committee, called the forty first meeting to order 10:26 AM on Thursday, March 02, 2006, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

Representative Larry Hosch moved the approval of the minutes of Wednesday, March 1, 2006. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The following witnesses testified on the Report of the Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund Advisory Task Force:

Representative Kahn assumed the gavel at 11:09 AM.

HF2972 (Tingelstad) Legislative Commission on Minnesota Resources renamed and modified to include citizens, and money appropriated.

Representative Tingelstad moved that HF2972 be passed and be re-referred to the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources Policy.

Representative Tingelstad moved the H2972-1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Tingelstad moved the H2972A2 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Tingelstad renewed her motion that HF2972 be passed as amended and be re-referred to the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources Policy. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE BILL WAS PASSED.
