MINUTES


Representative Fran Bradley, Chairman of the Health Policy and Finance Committee, called the fourteenth meeting to order at 10:21 a.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Rep. Thissen moved approval of the minutes of February 10, 2005. THE MOTION PREVAILED. The minutes were approved.

HF 490 (Cox) Intermediate care facilities for persons with mental retardation division of costs modified, and plan required.

Rep. Bradley moved HF 490 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Policy & Finance omnibus bill.

Rep. Bradley moved to amend HF 490, as follows:

Page 3, line 13, delete "some"
Page 3, line 14, delete "of"
Page 3, line 16, after "adequate", insert "state and federal"

THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF 775 (Bradley) Long term care provider inflation adjustments provided;

Rep. Bradley moved HF 775 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Policy and Finance omnibus bill.

Rep. Bradley explained Amendment H0775A1.

Rep. Bradley moved to amend HF 775 (see Amendment H0775A1 attached). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
