MINUTES


Representative Duke Powell of the Health Policy and Finance Committee, called the fifty-first meeting to order at 10:20 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2006 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Rep. Wilkin moved approval of the minutes of March 2, 2006. THE MOTION PREVAILED. The minutes were approved.

Rep. Huntley moved approval of the minutes of March 3, 2006. THE MOTION PREVAILED. The minutes were approved.

HF 3132 (Bradley) Credentials verification service use by foreign medical school graduates authorized.

Rep. Bradley moved HF 3132 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Rep. Bradley presented HF 3132.

Testifying to the bill:

Rep. Bradley modified his motion and moved HF 3132 be recommended to pass and be placed on the Consent Calendar. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2745 (Abeler) Medical license provisions modified.

Rep. Abeler moved HF 2745 be recommended to pass.

HF 3130 (Bradley) ICF/MR plan to develop a plan for unspecified future services development required.

Rep. Bradley moved HF 3130 be held over for possible inclusion in the Health Policy and Finance omnibus bill.

Rep. Bradley moved HF 3130 be held over for possible inclusion in the Health Policy and Finance omnibus bill. The Chair held over HF 3130 for possible inclusion in the Health Policy and Finance omnibus bill.

HF 3032 (Emmer) Pharmacists prohibited from refusing to dispense a prescription drug or device except under certain circumstances.

Rep. Emmer moved HF 3032 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Rep. Emmer moved to amend HF 3032 (see Amendment H3032DE1 attached). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
