Representative Brad Finstad, Vice Chair of the Health Policy and Finance Committee, called the fifty-ninth meeting to order at 10:20 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2006 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

HF 2934 (Bradley) Integration plan for state-administered health care programs required

Rep. Bradley moved HF 2934 be recommended to pass and be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Policy and Finance omnibus bill.

The Chair laid over HF 2934 for possible inclusion in the Health Policy and Finance omnibus bill.

HF3591 (Finstad) Human services commissioner contract with Medicare-approved special needs plans authorized to provide services to persons with disabilities.

Rep. Finstad moved HF 3591 be recommended to pass and be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Policy and Finance omnibus bill.

Rep. Finstad moved to amend HF 3591 (see Amendment H3591DE2 attached). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Bradley moved to amend HF 3486 (see Amendment H3486DE3 attached). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Randall Chun, House Research analyst, clarified language in Amendment H3486DE3.

The Chair laid over HF 3486, as amended, for possible inclusion in the Health Policy and Finance omnibus bill.

The Chair called a recess to the Call of the Chair at 12:10 p.m.

At 4:37 p.m., Chairman Bradley reconvened the meeting in Room 400N.

HF 2854 (Nornes) Hospital restricted construction or modification exception provided.

Rep. Bradley moved HF 2854 be recommended to pass.
