Representative Bob Gunther, Chair of the Jobs & Economic Opportunity Policy & Finance Committee, called the forty-first meeting to order at 8:27 a.m., on Wednesday, April 13, 2005, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

H.F.632 (Urdahl) Employer income tax credit for creation and retention of certain rural county jobs authorized.

Chair Gunther moved HF632 to be before the committee and recommended that HF632 pass and re-referred to the committee on Taxes.

Representative Wilkin moved to amend HF2358, line 12, after "products", delete ",", insert "or", after "alcohol", insert ".", delete "or lottery tickets.". The motion prevailed and the oral amendment was adopted.

There were 3 yes votes and 6 no votes, which affirmed that the motion did not prevail.
