MINUTES


Representative Steve Smith, Chair of the Public Safety Policy and Finance Committee, called the fifty-fourth meeting to order at 10:26 a.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2006 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

Rep. Paymar moved HF3674 (Paymar) relating to Hmong marriage solemnization provided, criminal penalties imposed for solemnizing a prohibited marriage, and filing requirements clarified for certain Quaker marriages.

Rep. Paymar presented HF3674.
