MINUTES


Representative Diane Loeffler, Vice Chair, called the meeting to order at 11:16 a.m., on Friday March 28, 2008 in Room 400N State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Tim Mahoney moved that the minutes for the Tuesday March 25, 2008 meeting be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Tim Mahoney moved the Calendar for the Day for Monday March 31, 2008.

Representative Gene Pelowski moved to remove item #3 from the Proposed Calendar for the day. THE MOTION FAILED.

Representative Tim Mahoney renewed his motion to move the Calendar for the Day for Monday March 31, 2008. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Diane Loeffler move notwithstanding Joint Rule and Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 8 the Rules Committee moves that HF 3371 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED

Representative Kathy Tingelstad testified to the motion.

Representative Diane Loeffler moved notwithstanding Joint Rule and Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 8 the Rules Committee moves that HF 3789 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Commerce Committee for appropriate action, and if acted on by the Commerce Committee, to be further referred to the floor for placement on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Paul Gardner testified to the motion.
