Representative Loren Solberg, Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order on Monday, April 20, 2009 at 5:00 PM in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Representative Tillberry moved to adopt the Minutes of April 16, 2009 as presented.

Rep. Solberg moved to amend the Budget Resolution KN-RES07-1 as follows: see A3 amendment.
Bill Marx, Fiscal Analyst explained the amendment to the Budget Resolution.
Rep. Solberg renewed his motion that the Budget Resolution be adopted as amended.

Representative Holberg moved an oral amendment as follows: on H0002A55, delete lines 1.8 to 2.7

Representative Mahoney moves that SF2083 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

SF2082/HF1781 (Kahn) Omnibus State Government Finance Bill
Representative Kahn moved that SF2082 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.
Representative Kahn moved to delete all language in SF2082 and insert the language in HF1781.
Representative Kahn moved to amend SF2082 as amended as follows: see
H1781A29.

Representative McNamara moved an oral amendment as follows: Section 83, Page 67, line 22 delete the word must and insert the word may.
