MINUTES


Representative Loren Solberg, Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 2:30 pm in the Basement Hearing Room.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Nelson moved that the minutes of May 12, 2009 be adopted as presented.
THE MOTION PREVAILED

SF915 (Hosch) School districts required to obtain employee health coverage through the public employuees insurance program
Representative Eken moved that SF915 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Representative Solberg moved to amend SF915 as follows: see S0915A5.
THE MOTION PREVAILED THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

Representative Solberg moved to amend SF915 as follows: see S0915A6
THE MOTION PREVAILED THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

Testifying on SF915 was Charlie Kyte, Executive Director, MN School Board Association.



Representative Eken renewed his motion that SF915 as amended pass and be placed on the General Register.
THE MOTION PREVAILED

The meeting adjourned at 3:45 pm.
