Representative Ann Lenczewski, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:00 P.M. on April 6, 2009 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lenczewski moved HF1998 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

HF1998-Paymar-Tax increment financing district limitations amended.

Representative Lenczewski moved amendment H1998A2. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Testifying on HF1998: Nan Madden, Minnesota Budget Project

Representative Lenczewski renewed her motion that HF1998 be laid over as amended for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

Representative Carlson moved HF923 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

HF923-Carlson-Property Taxes; One-year lag in determining fiscal disparities contribution net tax capacities and discrimination levies eliminated

Representative Carlson moved amendment H0923A1. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Carlson renewed his motion that HF923 be laid over as amended for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

Representative Gardner moved HF1584 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

HF1584-Gardner-Home heating fuel exemption modified

Representative Gardner moved amendment H1854A1. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Gardner moved amendment A09-0364. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Gardner renewed his motion that HF1584 be laid over as amended for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill

Representative Dill moved HF2217 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

HF2217-Dill-Cook County; Local sales and use tax and bonding authority limit for certain projects modified

Representative Dill renewed his motion that HF2217 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

Representative Garofalo moved the minutes from April 2, 2009 and April 3, 2009; THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.

Representative Mullery moved HF1257 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

HF1257-Mullery-Taxation mandates imposed on pass-through interests of nonresident individuals clarified.

Representative Mullery renewed his motion that HF1257 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

Representative Hilstrom moved HF1405 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

HF1405-Hilstrom-Tax data disclosed to law enforcement authorities

Representative Hilstrom renewed her motion that HF1405 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

Representative Lenczewski moved HF2172 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

HF2172-Lenczewski-Sales tax technical changes made

Representative Lenczewski moved amendment H2172A2. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Lenczewski renewed her motion that HF2172 be laid over as amended for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.
