Representative Paul Gardner, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:57 P.M on March 23, 2009 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF1782-Lenczewski-State government financing provisions modified relating to taxes, individual income, corporate franchise, property and sales and use, additions required, federal section 179 expensing allowances conformed, subtractions disallowed, nonrefundable credits allowed, refundable Minnesota child credit allowed, various provisions repealed, and money appropriated.

A quorum was present.

Representative Anderson moved the minutes of March 18, 2009. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

Representative Lenczewski moved HF1782 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

Representative Lenczewski moved amendment H1782A1. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Testifying on HF1782: Marcia Avner, Public Policy Director, Minnesota Council of Non-Profits; Susie Brown, Executive Director, Child Care WORKS; Christine Burger, Minnesota Association of Realtors; Michele Foster, President, Foster Real Estate Advisory Services; Eric Anderson, Director of Development, Ryan Companies; James Hiniker, Minnesota Institute of Public Finance.

Representative Lenczewski renewed her motion that HF1782 be laid over as amended for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

The committee adjourned at 4:22 P.M.
