Representative Carlson, Chair of the Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at
9:40 A.M. on Monday, March 1, 2010, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Rep. Champion moved adoption of the Transportation Finance and Policy Division report for HF2485. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE DIVISION REPORT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Champion moved that SF2253 be recommended to pass and placed on the Consent Calendar

Rep. Champion moved to amend SF2253. (See attached amendment S2253A1). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Atkins presented HF2485 /SF2253, as amended (Atkins) Rock Island Bridge moratorium on demolition or removal repealed.

Rep. Huntley moved adoption of the Health and Human Services Finance Division report for HF2859, First Committee Engrossment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE DIVISION REPORT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Huntley moved that SF1369, Second Engrossment, be recommended to pass and placed on the General Register.

Rep. Huntley moved to amend SF1369, Second Engrossment. (See attached amendment S1369A1). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Kelly presented SF1369, Second Engrossment, as amended (Kelly) Goodhue County; nursing facility beds consolidated and relocated to a new site.

Bill Marx, Chief Fiscal Analyst, responded to questions regarding SF1369, Second Engrossment, as amended.

Rep. Huntley renewed the motion that SF1369, Second Engrossment, as amended, be recommended to pass and placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Solberg moved that HF2037 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Rep. Solberg moved to amend HF2037. (See attached amendment A10-2063). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Solberg presented HF2037, as amended (Solberg) General fund dedicated revenue appropriations transferred to other funds.
