Rep. Gunther moved approval of the minutes of March 25, 2009. The motion prevailed.

Rep. Magnus moved approval of the minutes of March 26, 2009. The motion prevailed.

HF1836 (Sertich) Biomass mandate contracts amendment required, cost recovery authorized.

Rep. Hilty moved HF1836 for possible inclusion in the Energy policy omnibus bill.

Rep. Hilty moved the H1836DE1 amendment. The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.

Rep. Sertich explained the bill.

HF862 (Hilty) Annual legislative report required on adequacy of electric transmission infrastructure.

Rep. Hilty moved HF862 for possible inclusion in the Energy policy omnibus bill.

The bill was laid over

SF656 (Hilty) Legislative Energy Commission directed to analyze state energy standards for certain appliances.

Rep. Hilty moved that SF656 be recommended to pass and be referred to the Committee on Finance.

Rep. Hilty renewed his motion that SF656 be recommended to pass and be referred to the Committee on Finance. The motion prevailed. The bill was passed.

Rep. Westrom called for a division. With ten hands in favor, the chair’s ruling was upheld.

HF1725 (Persell) Residential heating and delivered-fuel supplier reports required.

Rep. Persell moved HF1725 for possible inclusion in the Energy policy omnibus bill.

Rep. Persell moved the following oral amendment.

Line 1.7 change ‘$50,000’ to ‘$150,000’

The motion prevailed. The oral amendment was adopted.
