MINUTES


Representative Mindy Greiling, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:45PM on March 2, 2010, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was not present.

Charlie Kyte, Executive Director, Minnesota Association of School Administrators, Sam Walseth, Lobbyist, Minnesota Rural Education Association, Scott Croonquist, Executive Director, Association of Metropolitan School Districts, Brad Lundell, Executive Director, Schools for Equity in Education, Grace Kelliher, Executive Director, Minnesota School Boards Association, and Jan Alswager, Lobbyist, Education Minnesota, provided school district budget help recommendations.

A quorum was present at 3:50pm.

Representative Benson moved the minutes of February 25, 2010 be adopted.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.


Representative Sailer and Robert Doetsch, Superintendent, Blackduck Public Schools, presented "Blackduck Schools and The 4-Day Week."

Public testimony on Robert Doetsch’s testimony was provided by the following individuals:
Mary Cecconi, Executive Director, Parents United

The meeting was adjourned at 4:10pm.
