Representative Mary Murphy, Chair, called the seventeenth meeting to order at 8:31 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Kath testified to HF1756

Terry Kuhlman of Saint Paul, on behalf of the Public Facilities Authority, testified to HF1756

Representative Davids moved the A09-0107 amendment
THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

Representative Haws moved to orally amend HF1756, as amended, as follows:
Line 3.18: Delete "five", insert "twenty"
Line 4.23: Delete "ten", insert "twenty"
THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

Mr. Kuhlman answered questions from the committee

Representative Eken moved that HF1756 be recommended to pass, as amended, and returned to Finance
