MINUTES


Representative Will Morgan, Vice Chair, called the twenty first meeting to order at 9:03 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Morgan called the meeting to order at 9:03 a.m.

A quorum was present

Representative Lillie moved that the minutes of March 30, 2009 be adopted
THE MOTION PREVAILED

Representative Murphy moved that HF2229 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Finance

Representative Murphy moved the A09-0305 amendment
THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

Representative Murphy testified to HF2229 as amended

Lester Collins of Saint Paul, on behalf of the Council on Black Minnesotans, testified to HF2229 as amended

The meeting was adjourned at 9:28 a.m.
