MINUTES


Representative Kahn, Chair of the Division, called the meeting to order at 2:50 P.M. on March16, 2010 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Members excused:

A quorum was not present.

HF 2899 (Pelowski) Administrative remedy provided for certain data practice law violations, civil penalty provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Kahn moved that HF 2899 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Finance Committee.

Representative Pelowski testified in support of HF 2899.

A quorum was present at 2:55 P.M.

Chair Kahn moved the H2899A7 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Bruce H. Johnson, Assistant Chief Administrative Law Judge, Office of Administrative Hearings, testified in support of HF 2899.

Chair Kahn renewed her motion that HF 2899 be recommended to pass, as amended, and re-referred to the Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Kath moved that the minutes of March 11, 2010 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 3:06 P.M.
