MINUTES


Representative Joe Atkins, Chair of the Commerce and Labor Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:32 P.M. on March 5, 2009, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Atkins moved HF1200.

Representative Lillie assumed the gavel at 4:41


HF819 (Atkins) Early Internet sales of event tickets at inflated prices prohibited.

Representative Atkins moved HF819.

Representative Atkins moved the H0819A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Atkins moved the H0819A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Atkins moved the H0819A3 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Atkins moved HF819, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Public Safety Policy and Oversight. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Simon moved HF159.

Representative Slocum moved that the minutes of March 3, 2009 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
