MINUTES


Representative Kent Eken, Chair of the Environment Policy and Oversight Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:42 PM, on March 10, 2009, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Gardner moved that the minutes from March 5, 2009, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Eken moved HF774 be recommended to pass and be referred to the Committee on State and Local Government Operations Reform, Technology and Elections.

Greenhouse gas emission registry provided

Chair Eken moved the H0774A1 amendment.

Chair Eken moved the following oral amendment to the H0774A1 amendment:
Delete line 1.2 of the H0774A1 amendment.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Eken renewed his motion for the H0774A1 amendment as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Being 8 votes in favor of the amendment, 7 votes against the amendment, 2 absentees, and 1 abstention, the H0774A1 remains in the bill.

Chair Eken renewed his motion that HF774 be recommended to pass as amended and referred to the Committee on State and Local Government Operations Reform, Technology and Elections. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Sailer moved HF569 be recommended to pass and be referred to the Committee on Commerce and Labor.

Recycled paint pilot program implementation required by paint manufacturers

Representative Wagenius moved HF1086 be recommended to pass and be referred to the Committee on Finance with recommendation it be re-referred to the State Government Finance Division.

Chair Eken took possession of the gavel at 6:40 PM.

Representative Wagenius renewed her motion that HF1086, as amended, be recommended to pass to the Committee on Finance and re-referred to the State Government Finance Division.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:50 PM
