Representative Paul Thissen, Chair of the Health Care and Human Services Policy and Oversight Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:20 P.M. on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Hayden moved that the minutes of January 22, 2009 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Liebling assumed the gavel at 3:22 P.M.

HF293 (Ruud) Colorectal cancer screening for the uninsured

Representative Ruud moved that HF293 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Finance.

Representative Ruud presented the bill.

Representative Thissen moved that HF177 be recommended to pass and referred to the General Register.
