MINUTES


Representative Cy Thao, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M. on Thursday, February 25, 2010 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Abeler moved that the minutes of March 20, 2009 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2995 (Tillberry) Diagnosis qualifications of attention deficit disorder or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder expanded.

Representative Thao moved that HF1995 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Health Care and Human Services Policy and Oversight.

Representative Thao moved the A10-2165 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Ruud moved that HF2969 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Health Care and Human Services Policy and Oversight.

Representative Ruud moved the A10-2144 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Ruud renewed her motion that HF2969, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Health Care and Human Services Policy and Oversight. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1503 (Abeler) Massage therapist licensure and fees established, and penalties provided.

Representative Abeler moved that HF1503 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Health Care and Human Services Policy and Oversight.

Representative Abeler moved the A10-2013 amendment with the following changes:

Page 3, line 18, delete "the diagnosis of" and insert "diagnosing"
Page 3, line 19, before "recommendations" insert "changing" and delete "by" and insert "of"

THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Murphy moved that HF1249 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Health Care and Human Services Policy and Oversight.

Representative Murphy moved the A10-2056 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Murphy moved to amend the A10-2056 amendment as follows:

Page 11, line 1, delete "reviewed" and insert "renewed"
Page 11, line 2, delete "148F.10" and insert "148F.11"

THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Murphy moved the A10-2148 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
