MINUTES
Representative Hamilton, Chair of the Agriculture & Rural Development Policy & Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:18 a.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Kory Kath moved to approve the minutes of February 3, 2011. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 12 (LeMieur) Green acres and agricultural classifications restored to pre-2008 status.
Representative LeMieur moved HF12 to pass as amended and be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

H0012DE2. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Chair Hamilton moved the amendment
H0012A5. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Morrow moved an oral amendment as follows: on line 1.18, delete "are" and insert "may be." Delete the period after terminated and add "at the election of the property owner." Representative Morrow withdrew his oral amendment.
Chair Hamilton renewed his motion to move the amendment H0012A8. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hanson moved an oral amendment as follows: on line 1.7, delete "protect" and insert "preserved." THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE ORAL AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Chair Hamilton renewed his motion to move the amendment H0012A9. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDED AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative LeMieur moved that HF12, as amended, be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 142 was laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.
HF 148 was laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.
The next meeting will be Wednesday, February 9, 2011.
