MINUTES

Representative Howes, Chair of the Capital Investment Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:36 PM on February 23, 2011, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Nornes moved to approve the minutes from January 19th, 2011 MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 607 (Howes) Capital improvement funding provided to acquire and better public land and buildings and for other improvements of a capital nature, nonprofit housing bond authorization changes made, bonds issued, appropriations modified, and money appropriated.

Representative Howes moved HF607.

Representative Howes moved to orally amend Page 9, line 14 strike the word "Township". MOTION PREVAILED. THE ORAL AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Carly Melin introduced herself to the committee.
