MINUTES

Representative Hoppe, Chair of the Commerce and Regulatory Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:36 p.m. on February 14, 2012, in the Basement hearing room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Daudt moved to approve the minutes for January 31, 2012. The motion prevailed.
Representative Kieffer moved HF1273 and recommended that it be passed and re-referred to the General Register.
Charlie Durenburger from Department of Labor and Industry testified.
Representative Kieffer renewed her motion. The motion prevailed.
Representative Hoppe moved HF2087.
Representative LeMieur introduced HF2087 and recommended that it be passed and re-referred to the General Register.
Representative Hoppe moved amendment A12-0634. The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.
John Rajkowski from Department of Labor and Industry testified.
Representative Murdock moved HF1595 and recommended that it be passed and re-referred to the Transportation Committee.
Representative Murdock moved amendment H1595A2. The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.
Mark Brunner from MMHA testified.
Representative Murdock renewed his motion. The motion prevailed.
Representative Hoppe moved HF1992 and recommended that it be passed and re-referred to the General Register.
Representative Kelly introduced HF1992.
John Hausladen from MN Trucking Association testified.
Joyce Brenig from MN Trucking Association testified.
Mel Simon from Styre Transportation testified.
Representative Hoppe renewed his motion. The motion prevailed.
The chair adjourned the meeting at 3:12 pm.
