MINUTES
A quorum was present and Representative Erickson, Chair of the Education Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:17 AM on February 23, 2012, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Norton moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on February 21, 2012, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
HF 2329 (Holberg) CPR training and instruction requirements clarified.
Chair Erickson moved HF 2329 to be laid over for possible inclusion in another bill. Chair Erickson moved the
H2329A2 amendment. Representative Holberg presented the amendment and stood for questions. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF 2293 (Davnie) School districts; ability to use prone restraints extended to one additional year, and data collection and reporting required.

H2293A2 amendment. Representative Davnie explained the amendment and stood for questions. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
