Representative Cornish, Chair of the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance Committee, called the eighteenth meeting to order at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2011, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Representative Hilty moved that the minutes of February 23, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Staff from the Department of Corrections (DOC) gave an overview of the department's budget and answered questions of the committee.
