MINUTES

Representative Lanning, Chairman of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:21 a.m. on March 13, 2012, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Gunther moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 8, 2012, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2157 (Persell) Bemidji; veterans facility establishments funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Chairman Lanning moved that HF2157 be laid over.

The committee heard testimony on HF2157.

HF2655 (Davids) Film investment tax income credit provided.

Chairman Lanning moved that HF2655 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Taxes Committee.

The committee heard testimony on HF2655.

HF1813 (Benson) Contractor availability provided to assist state agencies in reorganization.

Representative Benson moved that HF1813 be recommended to pass and sent to the General Register.

Representative Benson moved the H1813DE3 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

The committee heard testimony on HF1813, as amended.

HF2327 (Benson) Election administration procedures for individuals who have been convicted of a felony.

Representative Benson moved that HF2327 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.
