Representative Davids, Chair of the Taxes Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:15 A.M. on March 8, 2011, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Davids moved HF 573.

HF 573 (Quam) Medicare and Medicaid medical device coverage provisions modified.

Chair Davids laid HF 573 over for possible inclusion in the Taxes Omnibus bill.

Representative Myra moved to approve the minutes dated March 3, 2011. Motion prevailed: Minutes were approved.
Chair Davids recalled HF112 and HF680 from the Property and Local Tax Division.

Chair Davids moved to refer HF 112 to the Committee on Jobs and Economic Development, and HF 680 to the Committee on Transportation Policy and Finance.
Motion Prevailed.

Chair Davids moved HF 772.

HF 772 (Slawik) Dependent care credit modified.

Representative Slawik presented HF 772.

Chair Davids laid HF 772 over for possible inclusion in the Taxes Omnibus bill.

Chair Davids moved HF 674.

HF 674 (Liebling) Estimated tax threshold payment requirement increased.

Chair Daivds moved the H0674A1 amendment.
Motion Prevailed. The bill was amended.

Representative Liebling presented HF 674, as amended.

Chair Davids laid HF 674 over for possible inclusion in the Taxes Omnibus bill.

Chair Davids moved HF 410.

HF 410 (Lohmer) Social Security benefits income tax subtraction allowed.

Chair Davids moved the H0410A1 amendment.
Motion Prevailed. The bill was amended.

Representative Lohmer presented HF 410, as amended.

Chair Davids moved HF 665.

HF 665 (Hornstein) Corporate franchise taxation; foreign source income preferences eliminated, subtraction for foreign royalties repealed, domestic corporation definition expanded to include certain foreign corporations incorporated in or doing business in tax havens, and foreign operating corporations repealed.

Representative Hornstein presented HF 665.

Vice Chair Loon assumed the gavel at 11:20 A.M.

Chair Davids re-assumed the gavel at 11:28 A.M.
