MINUTES

Representative Murdock, Vice Chair of the Transportation Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:35 p.m. on Monday, March 21, 2011, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Morrow moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 18, 2011 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1149 (Beard) Aeronautics activities money appropriated.

Representative Beard moved that H1149 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Beard presented H1149.

Representative Beard renewed his motion that H1149 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1140 (Beard) Fixed guideway transit and rail line project requirements amended, governing capital requests requirements established, and financial reporting amended.

Representative Beard moved that H1140 be recommended to pass, as amended, and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Murdock recessed the committee at 12:53 P.M.

Chair Murduck reconvened the committee at 1:10 P.M.

Representative Beard moved the H1140A9 amendment.

Representative Beard moved the H1140A17 amendment.

Representative Beard moved to incorporate the H1140A17 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Beard presented the H1140A9 amendment.

Representative Beard moved to incorporate the H1140A9 amendment, as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT, AS AMENDED, WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hornstein moved the H1140A13 amendment.

Representative Morrow moved an oral amendment to H1140A13 as follows:
Page 1, line 8, delete "3" and insert "6." THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Champion moved the H1140A11 amendment.

Representative Champion moved to incorporate the H1140A11 amendment. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL. THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.
