MINUTES

Representative Scott Chair of the Data Practices Subcommittee, called the meeting to order at 6:20 PM on Monday, March 12, 2012 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Lesch moved to approve the minutes from Monday, February 20, 2012. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2044 (Petersen) Natural resources department electronic licensing classifications repealed.

Representative Holberg moved that HF 2044 be recommended to pass and referred to the Civil Law Committee.

HF 1784 (Anzelc) Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board regulated, and classification of loan or equity investment application data modified.

Representative Scott moved that HF 1784 be recommended to pass and referred to the Civil Law Committee.

Representative Holberg moved that HF 2647 be recommended to pass and referred to the Civil Law Committee.

Representative Holberg moved for the approval of the H2647A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Simon moved to orally amend H2647A2 amendment:
Page 1 line 9 delete "resulting from" and add "associated with" and insert period after "relationship" and delete "that includes a lump sum payment made in lieu of salary or other compensation"
Page 1, line 10 delete all new language.

Representative Simon withdrew oral amendment.

Representative Scott laid over HF 2647, as amended.

HF 2668 (Holberg) Fiscal note unofficial data classified.

Representative Holberg moved that HF 2668 be recommended to pass and referred to the Civil Law Committee.

Representative Holberg moved for the approval of H2668A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Holberg moved to orally amend by deleting Sections 1, 2 and 3, and on Page 4, line 33, after "are" insert "not" THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2009 was laid over in the Civil Law Committee on Monday, March 12, 2012. The bill was brought before the subcommittee for review, but was not moved.

HF 2009 (Abeler) Human services legal provisions changed; human services licensing, licensing data, and the Office of Inspector General related provisions modified; Human Services Background Studies Act amended; municipal license provisions modified; program integrity monitoring provided for, and report required.
