MINUTES

Representative Lesch, Chair of Committee on Civil Law, called the meeting to order at 8:20 AM, Tuesday, March 25, 2014 in the Basement of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Johnson moved to approve minutes from March 21st, 2014. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

HF2467 (Liebling) Human services background studies requirements modified.

Representative Liebling moved to re-refer HF2467 to the Committee on Health and Human Services Policy.

Representative Liebling Presented HF2467.

Representative Liebling moved an amendment to HF2467 (See attached H2467DE3). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Liebling renewed her motion to re-refer HF2467, as amended, to the Health and Human Services Policy Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2546 (Yarusso) Revisor’s bill; erroneous, ambiguous, and omitted text and obsolete references corrected; redundant, conflicting, and superseded provisions removed; and miscellaneous corrections to laws, statutes, and rules made.

Representative Yarusso moved to re-refer HF2546 to the General Register.

Representative Yarusso moved to amend HF2546 (See attached A14-0907). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Yarusso renewed her motion to move HF2546, as amended, to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3215 (Huntley) Department of health, Northstar Care for Children program, continuing care, community first services and supports, health care, and chemical dependency changes made; hospital payment system modified; background study and home and community-based service standards modified; fees set; and rate increases provided.

Representative Liebling moved to re-refer HF3215 to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance.

Representative Huntley presented HF3215.
