MINUTES

Representative Fritz, Vice-Chair of the Committee on Commerce and Consumer Protection Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 4:03 PM on February 26, 2014 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Johnson moved that the minutes from the meeting on February 25, 2014 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2293 (Atkins) Regulating Payday Lending.

Rep. Atkins moved HF2293 be re-referred to the General Register.

Rep. Atkins moved the H2293A1 amendment.

Rep. Atkins moved to orally amend the H2293A1 amendment by changing line 1.2 to read “Page 5, delete lines 11 to 24” and striking line 1.3. THE AMENDMENT IS ADOPTED.

Rep. Atkins moved the H2293A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED AS AMENDED.
