Representative Atkins, Chair of Committee on Commerce and Consumer Protection Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 4:08 PM on March 18, 2014 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

HF3073 (Atkins) Insurance fraud regulation modified, administrative penalty provided for insurance fraud, deauthorization process created for the right of health care providers to receive payments under chapter 65B, prescription drug reimbursement limited, batch billing regulated, economic benefits modified under chapter 65B, and task force established on motor vehicle insurance coverage verification.

Rep. Atkins moved that HF3073 be re-referred to the Committee on Judiciary Finance and Policy.

Rep. Atkins moved the A14-0896 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Atkins moved the A14-0897 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Atkins moved the A14-0894 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
