MINUTES

Representative Marquart, Chair of the Committee on Education Finance, called the meeting to order at 8:15 AM, February 26th, 2014 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Quam moved the minutes of April 12th, 2013 be approved.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Marquart welcomed members back to the committee.

Members heard an update from Representative Tim O’Driscoll, Chair of the Legislative Permanent School Fund Commission. Members' questions and comments were addressed throughout the presentation.

House Research staff member, Tim Strom, presented a review of enacted E-12 education-related provisions not in the 2013 omnibus E-12 education act. Members' questions and comments were addressed throughout the presentation.

Members gave education-related updates stemming from their respective school districts. Members also reviewed committee materials.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:45 AM.
