MINUTES
Representative Gene Pelowski, Chair of the Committee on Higher Education Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 12:30 PM on March 5, 2014, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Chair Pelowski moved that HF2647 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.
Chair Pelowski presented HF2647, a bill for an relating to higher education; modernizing, streamlining, and clarifying various statutes; eliminating unnecessary or redundant laws and rules; deleting obsolete language and unnecessary verbiage; amending Minnesota Statutes, etc.
Matt Gehring, House Research, gave a summary of HF2647.
Chair Pelowski renewed his motion that HF2647 be recommended to be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:34 PM.
