MINUTES
Representative Clark, Chair of Committee on Housing Finance and Policy, called the tenth meeting to order at 12:55pm on 2/20/2013 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Schomacker moved that the minutes of February 18, 2013 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
Representative Radinovich moved that HF350 (Simon) be recommended to pass.
Representative Simon presented HF350 (Simon). Special service district and housing improvement district deadlines repealed.

Representative Radinovich renewed the motion that HF350, be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
The following individuals from the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) presented an overview of the different DHS divisions that provide housing support, and how funding resources are distributed throughout the agency:

The following individuals from the Department of Health presented on their Healthy Homes initiative, related to reducing long-term health care costs through improving the home environment statewide.

The following individuals from the Sustainable Resources Center presented on their Health Homes initiative, related to addressing housing-related health hazards .

The meeting was adjourned at 2:08pm.
