MINUTES

Representative Paymar, Chair of Committee on Public Safety Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 10:03 a.m. Thursday, February 7th, 2013 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Paymar and members welcomed students from Best Academy, Minneapolis, who were visiting the committee.

H.F. 285 (Lesch) Firearm Lawful Possession Modified.

Rep. Lesch moved that H.F. 285 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Gun Violence Prevention Act. (10:05 a.m.)

Rep. Simonson moved that H.F. 308 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Gun Violence Prevention Act (10:36 a.m.)

Rep. Simonson moved to amend H.F. 308 as follows:
Page 3, lines 33 and 34, strike "and the National Instant Criminal Background Check System"

Rep. Simonson moved that H.F. 307 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Gun Violence Prevention Bill (6:04 p.m.)
