MINUTES

Representative Erin Murphy, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:47 AM on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, in Room 118 of the Capitol.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Benson moved approval of the Monday, April 22, 2013 minutes.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.


Chair Erin Murphy moved that the Proposed Calendar for the Day for Thursday, April 25, 2013 be adopted.
THE MOTION PREVAILED


Chair Erin Murphy moved that Rule 2.03 of the Joint Rules be waived for HF 1684 (Nelson).
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Erin Murphy moved to amend HF 1684 with Amendment H1684A2.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Erin Murphy moved to lay HF 1684 on the table.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.


Chair Erin Murphy moved that Rule 2.03 of the Joint Rules be waved and that HF 1152 (Murphy, M.) be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Proposed Calendar for the Day for Thursday, April 25, 2013
Waiver of Joint Rule 2.03: HF 1684 (Nelson) Metropolitan Council redistricting provided, and district boundaries adopted.
Waiver of Joint Rule 2.03: HF 1152 (Murphy, M.) Retirement; various provisions modified relating to retirement plans, benefits and contributions, vesting, computing annuities, postretirement adjustments, disability, early retirement, survivor benefits, new judges, existing judges, MSRS and PERA, Teachers Retirement Association, Duluth and St. Paul Teachers Retirement Fund Associations, and salary and payroll assumptions.
