Representative Ben Lien Chair of Property and Local Tax Division, called the meeting to order at 4:03 P.M. February 27, 2013, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davnie moved HF 406.
Representative Davnie presented HF 406 (Davnie) Market value definition for tax, debt, and other purposes; and money appropriated.
The following person testified on HF 406:
Gary Carlson, League of Minnesota Cities
Heather Bestler, Department of Revenue, answered questions by members regarding HF 406.
HF 406 was laid over for possible inclusion in the Property and Local Tax Division Report.
Chair Davnie assumed the gavel at 4:17 P.M.
Chair Davnie moved HF 377.
Chair Davnie moved the
H0377A1 amendment.
Chair Davnie moved that the H0377A1 amendment be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Dorholt presented HF 377 as amended (Dorholt) St. Cloud area cities local sales and use tax modified.

Representative Kiel moved HF 660.
Representative Falk presented HF 660 (Falk) Real property definition clarified.

Representative Garofalo moved that the minutes from February 19, 2013, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
Representative Torkelson moved that the minutes from February 26, 2013, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
