MINUTES
Representative Kiel, Vice-Chair of the Agriculture Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:17 A.M. on February 5, 2015, in Room Five of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Kiel called the meeting to order at 10:17 A.M.
Representative Pierson moved that the minutes of February 3, 2015 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
President John Gorton presented an overview of the Minnesota Turkey Growers Association.
Bruce Kleven, of the Minnesota Turkey Growers Association, was available to answer questions.
President Scott Waldner presented an overview of the Chicken and Egg Association of Minnesota.
Bruce Montgomery, with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture presented a report on the activities of the Agricultural Fertilizer Research and Education Council (AFREC).
Greg Buzicky, with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture’s Pesticide and Fertilizer Management division, was available to answer questions.
The meeting was adjourned at 12:00 P.M.
