MINUTES
Representative Hamilton, Chair of the Agriculture Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:15 A.M. on February 10, 2015, in Room Five of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Hamilton called the meeting to order at 10:15 A.M. A quorum was not present.
Reginaldo Haslett-Marroquin testified on the Main Street Project.
At 10:21 A.M a quorum was present.
President Tom Nolte provided testimony regarding the Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association (MSCA).
Chairman Grant Breitkreutz and Bruce Kleven testified for the MSCA.
House Fiscal Analyst Ken Savary presented an overview of the Agriculture Finance Committee terms and fiscal accounts.
Representative Miller moved that the minutes of February 5, 2015 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Santo Cruz began the testimonials on Governor Dayton’s 2016-2017 Minnesota Department of Agriculture Budget (MDA).
Dr. Nicole Neeser and Dr. Benjamin Miller provided testimony on the Governor’s MDA Budget as it relates to the MDA Dairy and Food Inspection Division.
At 11:18 A.M Representative Kiel assumed the gavel.
At 11:33 A.M Representative Hamilton resumed the gavel.
Dr. Geir Frisoe provided testimony on the Governor’s MDA Budget as it relates to the MDA Plant Protection Division.
Greg Buzicky, Joe Spitzmueller, and Dan Stoddard provided testimony to the Governor’s MDA Budget as it relates to the MDA Pesticide and Fertilizer Management Division.
The meeting was adjourned at 12:00 P.M.
