Representative Hackbarth, Chair of the Mining and Outdoor Recreation Policy Committee, called the twenty-third meeting to order at 2:54 P.M. on March 22, 2016, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Hackbarth called the meeting to order at 2:54 P.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Kiel moved to approve the minutes of March 16, 2016. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

H.F.3207 Anderson, M., Muskellunge water expansion by natural resources commissioner prohibited.

Representative Anderson, M. moved that bill H.F.3207 be sent to the General Register.

Representative Anderson moved the H3207DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Anderson, M. and Joe Fraune, Retired - Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, presented an overview of H.F.3207, as amended, and took questions from committee members.

Representative Metsa moved to table H.F.3207, as amended. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL.
