MINUTES

Representative Peppin, Chair of the Rules and Legislative Administration Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:37 A.M. on May 17, 2016, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Peppin called the meeting to order at 9:37 A.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Albright moved to approve the minutes of May 16, 2016. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Peppin moved the Calendar for the Day, May 19, 2016. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Peppin moved to adopt the 2016-R24 resolution. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Peppin moved to adopt the 2016-R25 resolution. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Peppin moved to adopt the 2016-R26 resolution. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Peppin moved to adopt the 2016-R28 resolution.
Bob Meyerson, Chief Sergeant-At-Arms of the Minnesota House of Representatives, testified on the resolution. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Peppin moved to adopt the 2016-R29 resolution.
Jim Reinholdz, Controller of the Minnesota House of Representatives Budget and Accounting Department, testified on the resolution. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2342 (Dettmer) Capitol grounds memorial commemorating Minnesotans awarded the Medal of Honor provided.

Paul Mandell, Executive Secretary of the Capitol Area Architectural and Planning Board, testified on HF2342.

Representative Peppin moved that Joint Rule 2.03 be waived for House File 2342. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Peppin moved that HF2342 be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Peppin moved that Joint Rule 2.03 be waived for House File 659. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:54 A.M.
