MINUTES

Representative Tim Kelly, Chair of the Transportation Policy and Finance Committee, called the thirty-first meeting to order at 12:48 PM on March 21, 2016 in Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Mark Dunaski, Deputy Commissioner of Public Safety and Larry Freund, Director of Fiscal and Administrative Services testified on the review of the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) Report on Dedicated Fund Expenditures and transfers from the Trunk Highway Fund and the Highway User Tax Distribution Fund (HUTD) for the years 2010 through 2015.

Colonel Matt Langer, Chief of the Minnesota State Patrol, testified on traffic safety and the resources of the Minnesota State Patrol.

Tracy Hatch, Deputy Commissioner, COO, CFO of the Minnesota Department of Transportation, testified on the review of the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) Report on Dedicated Fund Expenditures and Transfers from the Trunk Highway Fund and the Highway User Tax Distribution Fund (HUTD) for the years 2010 through 2015.
