MINUTES

Representative Paul Anderson, Chair of the Agriculture Policy Committee, called the meeting of the Agriculture Policy Committee to order at 10:16 AM on March 22nd, 2018, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Anderson called the meeting to order at 10:16 a.m.

Representative Munson moved that the minutes dated March 15, 2018 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Lueck moved that the minutes dated March 20, 2018 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF3472 (Swedzinski) Saltwater aquatic farm requirements required

Representative Pierson moved that HF3472 as amended be re-referred to the General Register.

HF3962 (Hamilton) Board of Animal Health data classified

Chair Anderson moved that HF3962 be re-referred to the committee on Civil Law and Data Practices.

HF3836 (Torkelson) Agricultural best management practice loan conditions modified to include environmental service providers. And drainage law modified to accelerate ditch buffer strip implementation

Representative Daniels moved that HF3836 be re-referred to the committee on Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance.

Representative Daniels moved the H3836A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Daniels moved the H3836A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
