MINUTES

Representative Sondra Erickson, Chair of the Education Innovation Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:14 AM on January 17, 2017, in Room 10 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Rarick moved the minutes of January 12, 2017, with one technical change, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Judy Randall, Deputy Legislative Auditor, Minnesota Office of the Legislative Auditor, presented an overview of the Office of the Legislative Auditor report on Minnesota Teacher Licensure.

Representative Daniels assumed the gavel at 8:44 AM.

Representative Erickson presented a review of the Legislative Study Group on Educator Licensing Report.

Representative Erickson assumed the gavel at 9:02 AM.

Erin Doan, Executive Director, Minnesota Board of Teaching, presented an update from the Minnesota Board of Teaching.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:36 AM.
